Description

I wanted to capture the early, misty evening on the banks of the ‘Old River’. I didn’t know that the Thames is also known as ‘The River Isis’. I lived in London for 20 years, quite close to the river, and used to cross it frequently without giving it much thought. I also didn’t know that it has 45 locks for example! We are going away next year to navigate the rivers and canals of Britain in a Narrow Boat for 6 months, hopefully I will know a bit more about the waterways when I return!
